I won’t even base this post on the origins or the “significance” of Valentines Day simply because I personally feel that this day is soooo overrated. It’s commercial, a total waste of money and time just like Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day and all the other “special” days on our calendar. The celebration of love should be an all year affair; the romantic dinners, gifts and bunches of red roses should be a prominent feature of every relationship.

ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, I thought that the rose idea was a bit harsh, but witty. I don't really believe in the whole notion of V-day, albeit, I recieved a Valentine's day message from my other half. I concur with Siya, why have a day to celebrate love? It's the same with Christmas, why put emphasis on the celebration of his birth on the 25th of Dec? when we have Sundays to do that? Tell people you love them on a daily basis and there won't be questionable Rihanna hair extensions. I heart your blog Siyums. I am crazy about the design and the backdrop. Mwa I love you
